GAS LEAKS
Propane and Butane are heavier than air and a small leak can
rapidly accumulate at floor or bilge level providing the potential
for a large explosion. The Haztec low level sensor is normally set
to detect gas at just 10% of the lower explosive level.
CARBON MONOXIDE
Normally the product of incomplete combustion, CO may originate
from cookers, water heaters, fridges, engine exhausts or heaters
of any type (including duct air). CO is lighter than air, has no
odour or taste and is not visible, but a mere 0.32% concentration
of CO in the air may kill a human within 30 minutes. The Haztec
high level sensor can detect the presence of CO in air well before
levels are reached.
The new, CE approved, Haztec embodies all the proven qualities
of the popular 2S models but now offers many additional advanced
features.
